Growth Accelerator runs a range of events across the country that aim to help SME's develop and grow.  In this case the event focuses on challenging business owners and senior managers to identify what is preventing their respective businesses from growing and then suggesting ways of addressing these issues.

The event is being held at the Eastpoint Centre - Bursledon Road, Southampton, Hampshire, SO19 8BR and is from 17.15-19.30. Whilst all are welcome, places are limited and registration is recommended to avoid disappointment.

AWC is delighted to announce that it has been formally accepted by the GrowthAccelerator team.

This means that the specialist business consultancy can now include the GrowthAccelerator service within its business development portfolio and can draw on the Team's expertise and resource to further help SME's flourish.

It is a selective service not just for its Coaches but also for the businesses it helps. If your business is eligible then you would qualify for free business development support, subsidised coaching and training and a range of other support from Access to Finance to Growth through Innovation.

Alan Ward attended the Growth Accelerator induction yesterday well hosted by the team at Grant Thornton.

The event was well attended with perhaps 30 coaches, mentors, consultants and other specialists from all over the country taking part. 

The attentive audience was taken through the Growth Accelerator service in detail.  Separate presentations were provided by each of the 'stream' heads ie Business Development, Access to Finance and Growth through Innovation and the afternoon involved group exercises facilitated by a number of Growth Managers.

It is an impressive and useful service for suited businesses and could really help promote growth.  Whilst appointment is not guaranteed, AWC is hopeful that it will be able to add the service portfolio to its offering.  Watch this space.

A little later in the year than most perhaps, but this years Inventors' New Year party takes place in London tomorrow and we will be there.

Organised by Mark Sheahan, inventor, entrepreneur, businessman and a founding member of Croydon's Round Table of Inventors the evening is always lively, interesting and well-attended.

For those out there interested in the Inventing scene, you would be surprised how many Inventors' Clubs exist.  So if you cannot get to the yearly party then Alan Ward Consulting heartily recommends you contact your local club.

The Growth Accelerator team is rightly discerning about who is suitable to become a Growth Coach but we are hopeful that Alan will qualify.
